A Coffee Bean Not For The Faint-hearted

There is a coffee that comes from Asia with a strong reputation. The culprit and miscreant creator is supposed to be the Civet Cat of Indonesia. A furry brown little thing; it loves the to eat the coffee bean as they ripen to red in color. When the meal is done and several hours later the coffee bean eat by the Civet Cat is excreted with a distinct aroma of stomach juices. Farmers then collect the excreted coffee bean and dry them and roast them and then offer them as a gourmet delight for curious coffee drinkers round the world.

Indonesian Kopi Luwak beans are very pricey. Depending on the quality prices could go as high as Two Hundred Euro for a Kilo of the bean. A cost of a cafe cup would be about thirty Euro.

The flavor is more like a rich dark chocolate with a strand of nuttiness.
